BE IT REMEMBERED, that on this 30th day of October A.D., 2018, there was begun and held a SPECIAL MEETING of the Honorable Commissioners’ Court of Hidalgo County, Texas, wherein the following members thereof were present, to-wit:

NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners Court will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Cano, 1st floor, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Discussion on Delta Region Water Management Project.
Board Member David L. Fuentes reminded the public of the groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. for the Delta Regional Reservoir. Partners from Cameron County and Willacy County will be attending the ceremony. The member thanked the district for all their assistance in coordinating this event.

Approval to accept donation of property via General Warranty Deed, at no cost to the HCDD1, 69.86 acre tract being all of Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Four (4), Five (5), and South 8.68 acres of Six (6), Block Four (4), Texan Gardens, Hidalgo County, Texas as per map recorded in Volume 8, Page 57, Map Records of Hidalgo County, Texas, and authorize the District General Manager to execute documents to accept such donation, subject to legal review.
Sesin disclosed that legal already reviewed the item which is part of the detention facility on the west portion of the county. This is an old caliche pit which the district will take over and abandon as part of their master plan to get drainage.
On motion by BOARD MEMBER PCT. 3, JOE M. FLORES, seconded by BOARD MEMBER PCT. 4, JOSEPH PALACIOS, the Board made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval.
Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously
