NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners Court will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Cano, 1st floor, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

The following items are of a routine or administrative nature. The Commissioners' Court has been furnished with background and support on each item, and/or it has been discussed at a previous meeting. All items will be acted upon by one vote without being discussed separately unless requested by a Court Commissioner, in which event the item or items will immediately be withdrawn for individual consideration in its normal sequence after the items not requiring separate discussion have been acted upon. The court motioned to approve the remainder of the Consent Agenda, without Consent Agenda items: 4.B.1.A, 7.L, 7.O.1, & 7.O.2.
On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 1, DAVID FUENTES, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 2, EDUARDO “EDDIE” CANTU, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval of the remainder of the Consent Agenda, without Consent Agenda items: 4.B.1.A, 7.L, 7.O.1, & 7.O.2.
Vote: 5 - 0 – Unanimously

Proposed location of Fiber Optic Cable:Starting at the northwest corner at the intersection of Mile 3 West Road and Mile 13 ½ North Road a (2) 1 ¼” HDPE SDR-11 Conduits will be extended west along the south side of Mile 13 ½ North Road to the intersection of Mile 4 West Road. From this intersection another (2) 1 ¼” HDPE SDR-11 Conduits will be extended south along the west side of Mile 4 West Road to the intersection of Mile 13 North Road.From this intersection another (2) 1 ¼” HDPE SDR-11 Conduits will be extended west along the south side of Mile 13 North Road to the intersection of Mile 5 North Road. Martha Salazar, with the Purchasing Department, stated for the record a request to approve ratification and request to exercise the first of three one (1) year extensions of current contract, C-19-073-08-13, under the same rates, terms, and conditions with -South Texas Communications "Repair Removal and Installation and/or Purchase of Radios, Computers and Other Miscellaneous Emergency Equipment" expiring on August 12, 2021.
On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 4, ELLIE TORRES, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 1, DAVID FUENTES, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval as requested above for Consent Agenda item 7.O.2.
