NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners Court will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Cano, 1st floor, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:
In accordance with section 418.016 of the Texas Government Code, Governor Abbott has suspended various provisions that require government officials and members of the public to be physically present at a specified meeting location. As a result, all or some government officials may participate via videoconference. Additionally, members of the public are encouraged to watch the meetings online, at: www.hidalgocounty.us/HClive

Judge Cortez called the meeting to order at 9:45 A.M.
All members of the board were present during the roll call.
Jaime Salazar offered the prayer.
There were no Open Forum participants.
The court proceeded to approve the Consent Agenda. No Consent Agenda items were pulled for further discussion.
On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 3, JOE M. FLORES, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 4, ELLIE TORRES, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval of the Consent Agenda.

On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 4, ELLIE TORRES, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 3, JOE M. FLORES, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval on item 8.A.2.

- (2) John Deere 470G - Short Boom Excavators Extended Warranty included: $801,916.00

4). Requesting approval to purchase the following heavy equipment through the Districts membership with Sourcewell awarded Contract No. 032119 through Holt Texas, LTD. (Audio Reference 07m:18s)
- (4) CAT 326 - Long Reach Excavators – Extended Warranty included: $1,001,200.00
5). Requesting approval to purchase the following Ford pickup trucks from Silsbee Ford Inc. through the District’s membership with GoodBuy Purchasing Cooperative Contract No. 20-8F000 in the total amount of $196, 264.50 to include freight. (Audio Reference 07m:39s)

6). Request approval of a Budget Amendment in the amount of $3,100,000.00 out of the General Fund Unreserved Fund Balance for the purchase of the above-mentioned equipment and vehicles in preparation for the Raymondville Drain Project Phase 2. (Audio Reference 08m:15s)
