NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Commissioners Court will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Administration Building, 100 E. Cano, 1st floor, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

The following items are of a routine or administrative nature. The Commissioners Court has been furnished with background and support on each item, and/or it has been discussed at a previous meeting. All items will be acted upon by one vote without being discussed separately unless requested by a Court Commissioner, in which event the item or items will immediately be withdrawn for individual consideration in its normal sequence after the items not requiring separate discussion have been acted upon. The remaining items will be adopted by one vote. (Audio Reference 15m:13s) 

County Executive Officer, Valde Guerra, requested to pull Consent Agenda Items 8.A.1&2 and 14.D.2, for further discussion. Mr. Guerra also stated that a Public Participation Form was submitted by Fern McClaugherty for consent agenda item 4.A.

On motion by COMMISSIONER PCT. 2, EDUARDO “EDDIE” CANTU, seconded by COMMISSIONER PCT. 1, DAVID FUENTES, the Court made a UNANIMOUS vote of approval to the Commissioner's Court - Consent Agenda, with the exception of items pulled for discussion.

Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously

Legal Counsel Victor Garza clarified that the items will display the County seal for the District Attorney’s Office, along with the District Attorney’s name, title, and contact information, so that members of the public may reach out with additional questions.
