SUMMARY
Acceptance of an Emergency Services Access Easements to provide secondary emergency access to portions of the Pebble Creek Marketplace including the Grayson Place Apartment project located at the southeast corner of McDowell Road and 159th Avenue.
Recommendation
Accept an Emergency Services Access Easement from Prescott Convention Center Limited Partnership, an Arizona limited partnership. (Linda Beals, Real Estate Coordinator)
FISCAL IMPACT
There will be no fiscal impact to the City in the fiscal year 2022 or future years with the acceptance of this easement.
BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS ACTIONS
The Grayson Place Apartments project is a 15.5-acre multi-family residential development located within the Pebble Creek Marketplace, which is currently under construction. As part of the development process, an Emergency Services Access Easement is required in order to provide a secondary emergency access route from the easterly side of the project.
STAFF ANALYSIS
The area in which the secondary access easement is needed is owned by multiple entities. The portion being dedicated by this action is owned by Prescott Convention Center Limited Partnership, an Arizona limited partnership, which owns the property directly east of the apartment development. The remainder of the easement area will be dedicated at a future date(s) by the owners of the Grayson Place Apartments.
The Emergency Services Access Easement attached hereto provides a portion of the emergency access required for the Grayson Place Apartments project and portions of the Pebble Creek Marketplace adjacent to the easement.
