CITY COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS

SUMMARY

The City Council is represented on various subcommittees, with Councilmembers appointed by the Mayor for each calendar year. This action recognizes the Mayor's appointments to the following:

City Council Audit Committee
City Council Subcommittee: Boards, Commissions, Committee Appointments
City Council Subcommittee: Community Funding Review
City Council Subcommittee: City Manager Recruitment
Goodyear Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board

STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT

RECOMMENDATION

Recognize the 2026 City Council Subcommittee appointments, to serve until successors are appointed in 2027. (Janet Hidalgo, Assistant to the Mayor)

FISCAL IMPACT

There is no fiscal impact associated with these appointments.

BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS ACTIONS

For each calendar year, the Mayor may modify the composition of each of the City Council subcommittees. Mayor Pizzillo considers the City Council's preferences and interests when reviewing and determining the annual appointments.
