SUMMARY
Arizona Revised Statutes §41-1279.07(E) requires that the City Council annually designate the Chief Fiscal Officer (CFO) for the purposes of filing the annual expenditure limit report. This resolution names Paul Luizzi, Interim Deputy City Manager, as the designee for FY2027.

RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution No. 2026-2527 designating the Chief Fiscal Officer for officially submitting the Fiscal Year 2027 Expenditure Limitation Report to the Arizona Auditor General. (Ryan Bittle, Deputy Finance Director)

No fiscal impact will result from the designation.
BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS ACTIONS
