SUMMARY
Recent changes to the City Charter require modification to City Code Section 2-4-2 Regular Meetings.
Recommendation
ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. 2021-1519 AMENDING GOODYEAR CITY CODE SECTION 2-4-2 (REGULAR MEETINGS), PROVIDING FOR CORRECTIONS; SEVERABILITY; AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (Darcie McCracken, City Clerk)
FISCAL IMPACT
The passage of this ordinance has no fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS ACTIONS
The City Charter was approved by the voters at the March 9, 2021 election and signed by Governor Ducey on May 18, 2021. The voters approved removing the requirement to have two Regular City Council meetings each month.

The current action before Council is to amend the City Code to align with the City Charter.
