SUBJECT: CANVASS THE MARCH 9, 2021 ELECTION RESULTS

SUMMARY:

Adopt the resolution adopting the results of the Special Election held on March 9, 2021.

Recommendation:

ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2021-2138 DECLARING AND ADOPTING THE RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION HELD ON MARCH 9, 2021; DECLARING RESULTS ON TEN PROPOSITIONS; AND ORDERING THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD THIS RESOLUTION.   (Darcie McCracken, City Clerk)

FISCAL IMPACT:

Adopting Resolution No. 2021-2138 has no direct fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS ACTIONS:

On October 5, 2020, City Council called for a Special Election and referred 10 propositions to the voters.  The Special Election took place on March 9, 2021.
