Recognize the 2024 City Council Subcommittee appointments. (Rosalva Zimmerman, Assistant to the Mayor)

FISCAL IMPACT

There is no fiscal impact associated with these appointments.

BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS ACTIONS

At the beginning of each calendar year, the Mayor may modify the composition of each of the City Council subcommittees. Mayor Pizzillo considers the City Council preferences and interest when reviewing and determining the annual appointments.

The 2024 appointments are as follows:
City Council Subcommittee: Community Funding
Vice Mayor Laura Kaino
Councilmember Wally Campbell
Councilmember Vicki Gillis

City Council Subcommittee: Boards, Commissions and Commissions Appointments
Vice Mayor Laura Kaino
Councilmember Sheri Lauritano
Councilmember Wally Campbell

City Council Subcommittee: Audit
Councilmember Sheri Lauritano
Councilmember Brannon Hampton
Councilmember Vicki Gillis

Goodyear Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board:
Vice-Mayor Laura Kaino

In accordance with A.R.S. §38-847, Mayor Pizzillo has designated Vice Mayor Kaino as chairperson of the Goodyear Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Board.
