The City Council will listen to comments and may take any of the following actions:
AGENDA ITEMS Members of the public may address the City Council regarding any item on the Consent, Public Hearing and/or Business portions of the agenda. Each speaker's name will be called in turn once the item has been reached and after City staff have completed their presentation. PROCEDURES Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Goodyear City Council and to the general public that the Council of the city of Goodyear will hold a meeting open to the public. Public body members of the city of Goodyear will attend either in person or by telephone conference call and/or video communication. The Goodyear City Council may vote to go into Executive Session, pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3), which will not be open to the public, to discuss certain matters. Recommendation
Accept the Special Warranty Deed for the Lakin Lift Station from W/C Lakin Owner VIII, L.L.C., a Delaware limited liability company. (Linda Beals, Real Estate Coordinator)

PROPOSAL TO TOHONO O’ODHAM NATION FOR ARIZONA REVISED STATUTE 5-601-02 12% GAMING DISTRIBUTION FUNDS
Recommendation
ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2021-2166, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF A PROPOSAL FOR 12% GAMING DISTRIBUTION FUNDS TO THE TOHONO O’ODHAM NATION, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO SAID PROPOSAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT (IF GRANT FUNDS ARE AWARDED), AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE THE REQUIRED BUDGET TRANSFER (IF GRANT FUNDS ARE AWARDED) . PUBLIC HEARING FOR FY2022 TRUTH-IN-TAXATION AND FINAL BUDGET ADOPTION AND APPROVAL OF TRUTH IN TAXATION INCREASE BY ROLL CALL VOTE
Recommendation
- Conduct a public hearing on the proposed increase of $229,434 in the primary property tax levy and Resolution No. 2021-2161 which adopts the final estimates by the city of Goodyear for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021, and ending June 30, 2022.
- Approve the Truth-in -Taxation increase of $229,434 for FY2022 by a roll call vote. (Doug Sandstrom, Finance Director)

TEMPORARY ASPHALT SIDEWALK SOUTH SIDE OF YUMA ROAD – CANYON TRAILS BOULEVARD TO SARIVAL AVENUE
Recommendation
Approve the creation of a new CIP project to construct temporary asphalt sidewalk on the South Side of Yuma Road – from Canyon Trails Boulevard to Sarival Avenue. (Hugh Bigalk, P.E., City Traffic Engineer)

Recommendation
Select a member of the Council to serve as Vice-Mayor from June 18, 2021 through December 2022. (Darcie McCracken, City Clerk)
