The Board will listen to comments, and may take any one of the following:

City of Goodyear Hearts Scavenger Hunt (Committee Member Raquel Landefeld)
Committee Member Landefeld stated she had discussed the scavenger hunt activity with the Advocacy Subcommittee and shared it with the Programs & Planning Subcommittee. Chairman Stephens stated that Hop & Hops did an activity very similar, and it may be redundant. The committee members agreed that if the activity is implemented it should happen in the fall.
Committee Member Landefeld stated she had discussed the scavenger hunt activity with the Advocacy Subcommittee and shared it with the Programs & Planning Subcommittee. City of Goodyear Social Dance (Committee Member Raquel Landefeld)
Committee Member Landefeld informed the committee members about the social dance activity idea. Landefeld stated that the Arthur Murray Dance Studio would be interested in collaborating with the city to implement this event. The committee members all agreed that the new Goodyear Recreation Campus would be an ideal location to hold the activity and also discussed if the event should be for adults only, a parent’s night out theme.

Committee Member Landefeld shared with the committee members the 75 things to do in Goodyear activity that Commissioner Wilson had presented at the Advocacy Subcommittee meeting. The committee members liked the idea and agreed to assist in developing the list.
