Discussion and possible action on the application and medical records for Accidental Disability - Jason Mattie (Last heard May 27, 2021)
Jason Mattie and his representative Jason Bayer were present.
Board Secretary Darcie McCracken informed the Board of the phone conversation she had with the state board representative, Joanne Lowey. Ms. McCracken advised that she was informed that the state board was returning the application for Jason Mattie back to the local board with questions. Ms. McCracken noted she did request the questions to be in writing and shared portions of the conversation related to the application and IME. Ms. McCracken stated that the state PSPRS noted that in the absence of a new IME or supplemental IME stating that the applicant was permanently and totally disabled, the local board did not have the ability to grant the application.
The Board discussed the various options available to the Board and heard from the applicant.
