CALL TO ORDER

Vice Chair Stewart called the Fire Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board meeting to order at 8:20 a.m.

ROLL CALL

Present:: Vice Chair Michael Stewart; Boardmember Jay Mathias; Boardmember Liam Tierney
Absent:: Chairman Laura Kaino; Boardmember Patrick Doyle
Staff Present:: Board Secretary Darcie McCracken; Board Attorney Lesli Sorensen
Attendees:: Human Resources Director Lyman Locket

MOTION BY Boardmember Jay Mathias, SECONDED BY Vice Chair Michael Stewart to EXCUSE Boardmember Patrick Doyle and Chairman Laura Kaino from the meeting. The motion carried by the following vote:

AYE:: Vice Chair Michael Stewart, Boardmember Jay Mathias, Boardmember Liam Tierney

Passed

Boardmember Liam Tierney and Board Attorney Lesli Sorenson participated via teleconference.

MOTION BY Boardmember Jay Mathias, SECONDED BY Vice Chair Michael Stewart to APPROVE the minutes from the April 29, 2021, Fire Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board Meeting. The motion carried with the following vote:

Passed

The Board reviewed, considered and voted in one motion for Items 2, 3 and 4 on the agenda.

Review, consider and possible action on the application and medical records for entry into the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System - Steven Foulk

Review, consider and possible action on the application and medical records for entry into the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System - Austin Niziolek

MOTION BY Boardmember Jay Mathias, SECONDED BY Vice Chair Michael Stewart to ACCEPT the application for Shaun Alexander, Steven Foulk and Austin Niziolek for entry into the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System as Goodyear employees with pre-existing conditions as noted. The motion carried by the following vote:

Passed - Unanimously

Passed - Unanimously
