CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 12:03 p.m.
 
ROLL CALL
Present:
Committee Member Erin MacFarlane; Committee Member Nancy Love
Absent:
Committee Member Frances Fee; Ex Officio Sandra Bassett
Staff Present:
Administrative Assistant Julie Pirece; Arts & Culture Administrator Guylene Ozlanski; Arts & Culture Coordinator Kelsi Kiper
 
PUBLIC COMMENTS

Before you begin to speak, identify yourself by clearly stating for the record, your name and address. This is the time for citizens who would like to address the Board on any non-agenda item within the jurisdiction of the Board. The Board will listen to comments, and may take any one of the following:
  • Respond to criticism.
  • Request that staff investigate and report on the matter.
  • Request that the matter be scheduled on a future agenda.
 
BUSINESS
 
1.
SELECT COMMITTEE CHAIR
With the absence of a quorum the election of a new chair will take place at the next Arts & Culture Commission meeting.
 
2.
RETURN TO IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING
Administrator Ozlanski explained the goal was to return to in-person programming as soon as possible and to provide a map of what that might look like for each event.  The Hot Coffee Lectures Series based on demographics and setting would remain virtual as well as live for the time being.

REVIEW OF CURRENT PROGRAMMING

GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST PROGRAM PLANNING
Coordinator Kiper gave a brief overview of the program and past contests.  The committee agreed to the existing format and focused on brainstorming a variety of out reach efforts to draw new participants.
 
INFORMATION ITEMS
Comments, Commendations, Report on Current Events and Presentations by Board, Commission or Committee Members, staff or members of the public. The members may not propose, discuss, deliberate or take any legal action on the information presented pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02.

Review the date, time and location of the next meeting, if applicable.

There being no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 1:05 p.m.
