City Manager Julie Arendall welcomed everyone to the Council Retreat.

| ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION |
1. Citizen Satisfaction Survey
The City Council reviewed and discussed the upcoming Citizen Satisfaction Survey and possible questions to add to the survey.
Mayor Lord recessed the meeting at 2:02 p.m.
Mayor Lord reconvened the retreat at 2:16 p.m.
2. Strategic Plan
The City Council reviewed and discussed the current strategic plan mission, vision, values and purpose. The Council discussed the current strategic goals and made suggestions for updating word choices and the goals.
Mayor Lord recessed the meeting at 3:48 p.m.
Mayor Lord reconvened the meeting at 3:59 p.m.
Ms. Arendall reviewed a list of potential strategic goals. City Council discussed the goals that they would like to pursue and the removal of those that were more operational.
3. Parting Thoughts
Ms. Arendall outlined the next steps which included writing up the SMART goals and returning to Council with a draft plan.
Council thanked Ms. Arendall for her efforts on this retreat and the opportunity for discussion.
