CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pizzillo called the Special Meeting to order at 1:01 p.m.

A VOTE MAY BE HELD TO CALL AN EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1): Discussion of personnel matters and interviews related to the City Councilmember recruitment.
MOTION BY Councilmember Laura Kaino, SECONDED BY Councilmember Bill Stipp to CONVENE an Executive Session. The motion carried as follows:

Passed - Unanimously

APPOINT A NEW COUNCILMEMBER
Recommendation
Appoint a new Councilmember to complete the term of the vacant seat which ends on December 31, 2022.
Recommendation
Appoint a new Councilmember to complete the term of the vacant seat which ends on December 31, 2022.
Council thanked all the applicants and commented that it was a very hard decision. Council added that they were hopeful that the applicants would continue to stay involved and consider future service to the City.
MOTION BY Councilmember Bill Stipp, SECONDED BY Vice Mayor Brannon Hampton to APPOINT Patrick Bray to complete the vacant term which ends on December 31, 2022. The motion carried as follows:
