CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Kaino called the Police Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board Meeting to order at 8:03 a.m.

Approval of Minutes
 

MOTION BY Boardmember Joe Perry, SECONDED BY Boardmember Jay Mathias to APPROVE the minutes from the January 27, 2022 Police Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board Meeting. The motion carried by the following vote:

AYE:
Chairman Laura Kaino, Vice Chair Michael Stewart, Boardmember Jay Mathias, Boardmember Joe Perry, Boardmember Eric Webster

Passed - Unanimously

Review, discussion and possible action regarding the application and medical records for entry into the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System

MOTION BY Boardmember Joe Perry, SECONDED BY Vice Chair Michael Stewart to ACCEPT the applications for Jason Hermann, Gabriel Joya, Seivion Morris, Bret Ruff and Jacob Trammell for entry into the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System as Goodyear employees with no pre-existing conditions. The motion carried by the following vote:

Chairman Laura Kaino, Vice Chair Michael Stewart, Boardmember Jay Mathias, Boardmember Joe Perry, Boardmember Eric Webster

Passed - Unanimously

 

MOTION BY Boardmember Jay Mathias, SECONDED BY Boardmember Joe Perry to ACCEPT the applications for Nicholas Ocampo and Jonathan Kacer for entry into the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System as Goodyear employees with pre-existing conditions as noted. The motion carried by the following vote:

Chairman Laura Kaino, Vice Chair Michael Stewart, Boardmember Jay Mathias, Boardmember Joe Perry, Boardmember Eric Webster

Passed - Unanimously

Boardmember Webster recused himself from the vote regarding Samantha Webster's application due to a conflict of interest.
 

MOTION BY Boardmember Joe Perry, SECONDED BY Vice Chair Michael Stewart to ACCEPT the application for Samantha Webster for entry into the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System as a Goodyear employee with no pre-existing conditions. The motion carried by the following vote:

Board Secratary Darcie McCracken briefly announced that there will be a joint PSPRB meeting to review PSPRS financial reports, discuss process mapping and updates to the City's Police and Fire Board Rules of Procedures.
 
NEXT MEETING

The next meeting of the Police Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board is tentatively scheduled for April 28, 2022.
 
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, Chairman Kaino adjourned the meeting at 8:15 a.m.
