Mayor Pizzillo called the Regular Meeting to order at 6:17 p.m.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS PROCLAMATION
Mayor Pizzillo will read a proclamation recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Mayor Pizzillo will read a proclamation recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
After watching a brief video showing Goodyear City Hall in purple lights, Mayor Pizzillo read the proclamation declaring October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. A representative from the New Life Center thanked the Council and city of Goodyear and commented that the Center served children and provided safe beds. Council thanked New Life for what they do for the community.

Council spoke about attending Goodyear Rocks and commented it was good to see the bands.
City Manager Julie Karins reported there were over 1,500 people in attendance at the 3rd Annual Goodyear Rocks. She thanked the Goodyear Arts and Culture Commission for connecting the community through music and the arts.
