GOODYEAR GENERAL PLAN UPDATE (STEVE CARECCIA, PLANNING MANAGER)
General Plan Consultants Matthew Klyszeiko and Matt Gomez, Michael Baker International, presented on the Goodyear General Plan update. They discussed the different components of the General Plan, why it is important to our community, and the process for updating the plan every ten years.
Youth Commissioners provided input on their future vision of Goodyear in the following areas: live, work, transportation, and entertainment.

INFOCUS MAGAZINE YOUTH COMMISSION TAKEOVER PLANNING (JOHN RAEDER, ASSISTANT TO THE COUNCIL)
Assistant to the Council John Raeder updated the Commission on the deadlines for the InFocus takeover project and stated that all article ideas need to be submitted October 4.

AZ VOTE PROJECT UPDATE (EMILY SHANAFELT, VICE CHAIR)
Vice Chair Emily Shanafelt updated the Commission on the AZ Vote Project and distributed posters to be displayed at Commissioner's high schools. She also asked that Commissioners continue to like and share project posts on Instagram.
