CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pizzillo called the Special Meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.

A VOTE MAY BE HELD TO CALL AN EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1): Discussion with the City Manager regarding her annual performance evaluation.
MOTION BY Councilmember Bill Stipp, SECONDED BY Councilmember Patrick Bray to CONVENE an Executive Session. The motion carried as follows:

ADJOURNMENT OF EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Pizzillo adjourned the Executive Session at 6:24 p.m.
RECONVENING OF SPECIAL MEETING
Mayor Pizzillo reconvened the Special Meeting at 6:24 p.m.
CONTINUATION OF BUSINESS
2.
Council will consider for possible action approving a new employment agreement with the City Manager.
MOTION BY Councilmember Bill Stipp, SECONDED BY Councilmember Wally Campbell to AMEND the employment agreement with Julie Karins [fka Arendall] to increase the base salary by 7.5%; to authorize the city attorney to create a new employment agreement to include increased Executive Leave hours to 80; to add language that the City Manager will receive the same increases to employee benefits as regular employees; to make the agreement an open-ended continuous agreement; and to authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement. The motion carried as follows:
