Transportation Capital Funding
Deputy Finance Director Jared Askelson presented an overview of the current 5-year Capital Improvement Project (CIP) funding amounts specifically allocated for transportation projects and their funding sources.

Transportation Capital Plan
Transportation Planning Manager Christopher Bridges provided the Committee with information about the purpose of the City's Transportation Master Plan (TMP). Items discussed included growth and population changes since completion of the last TMP in 2014. Mr. Bridges also presented project needs and key items that are currently included in the scope of the development of the new TMP scheduled for finalization in December 2023.
The Committee discussed current and future states of traffic volume, efficiency and mobility, capacity of roadways and planned and future developments. They additionally reviewed examples of costs, based upon per type of improvement.

Transportation Priorities
Deputy Finance Director Jared Askelson provided a list of priority Transportation Projects planned for years 2024 -2028 and discussed funding sources and estimated costs.
