CALL TO ORDER
Chair Weinberg called the Judicial Advisory Committee meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Rank applicants for Presiding Judge and select candidates for Judicial Advisory Committee interviews.
The Judicial Advisory Committee reviewed the applicant pool and determined which candidates would move forward to the in-person interview process. The committee selected three candidates to move forward to an in-person interview process with the JAC. The JAC also agreed that all candidates that reapplied and were previously interviewed would move forward to the JAC's next evaluation process, however since they were previously interviewed another interview was not necessary.
The JAC established August 16th as the date for in-person interviews. Following interviews, the JAC will meet on August 28th to rank all applicants and finalize their recommendation for City Council. All JAC actions were taken by consensus.

Develop interview questions and evaluation steps for the Presiding Judge selection process.
By consensus, the JAC agreed on the interview questions for the upcoming in-person interview process.
