Mayor Pizzillo called the Work Session to order at 5:00 p.m.

"What-If" Budget Contingency Planning - General Fund Revenue
Finance Director Doug Sandstrom presented information on the city's current financial status and offered estimates on various tax assumptions and suggested actions. He summarized recent legislative action eliminating the City's ability to charge sales tax on residential rentals, provided an overview of general fund revenue sources, and options for council discussion on how to address current and future legislative changes.
Council discussed the various options and noted that the city will take a conservative and balanced approach to any changes in revenues and expenditures while continuing to maintain a safe and good quality of life for the community.
