NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES (NLC) TRIP PRESENTATION
Community Engagement Coordinator, Jeremy Dyck, and Commissioners Omar Abdul-Gawad (Chair), Emma Yocopis, Michaela Grumbling, and Sebastian Orozco presented on their trip to Washington, DC to attend the NLC conference earlier this month.

YOUTH COMMISSION APPLICATIONS OPEN APRIL 1
Youth Commission applications open April 1 - 30. Those Commissioners whose terms end this year were encouraged to re-apply. Group interviews for interested commissioners will be Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Swearing in of new Commissioners will take place at the following Council meeting.

Community Engagement Coordinator, Jeremy Dyck discussed upcoming volunteer opportunities for the Youth Commission, such as Hop and Hops in March and the Lakeside Music Festival in April.

Submissions for the new Youth Commission logo were turned in to Jeremy Dyck for review.

Ameera Singh, a junior at Great Hearts Trivium Prep, spoke about the Youth Commissions volunteer opportunities, specifically their involvement at the Wag & Tag event held at GSQ on March 2, 2024.
