Mr. Diaz gave an overview of the purpose and role of the committee, including the proposed meeting schedule and the meeting process and procedures. The committee gave specific input on the proposed topics to be presented by city staff in future meetings. The committee discussed the meeting occurrence and voted on scheduling meetings on the second Wednesday of every month, beginning in January.

RECEIVE OPEN MEETING LAW AND ETHICS TRAINING (Darcie Mccracken, City Clerk)
Darcie McCracken, City Clerk, provided training on Arizona's Open Meeting Law, A.R.S. §§ 38-431 to -431.09, with particular emphasis on the application of the Open Meeting Law to the operations of the committee.

MOTION BY Commissioner Elena Ross, SECONDED BY Commissioner Sheri Trapp to elect Greg Brown as Chairman of the Citizens Water Advisory Committee. The motion carried as follows:
