CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pizzillo called the Work Session to order at 5:00 p.m.

FINAL PLAT PROCESS
Development Services Director Katie Wilken discussed the plan review process, including the General Plan, rezoning, preliminary plan, and final plan. She highlighted the importance of public participation in the process and the statutory requirements for final plats to precede Council. She reviewed a new legislative amendment which eliminated the need for Council approval for final plats. She mentioned a city code amendment would return to Council in September.
In response to Council's inquiry, Ms. Wilken emphasized that the new procedure will streamline things for developers while still upholding public participation. Additionally, she added that they will be conducting a community outreach this summer. The Council voiced its support for both the new procedure and the increased community engagement.
