DISCUSS COMMITTEE GOALS AND FRAMEWORK FOR AREAS OF FOCUS
Water Conservation Coordinator Andrew Pirrone presented a summary of the Committee's discussion on new water sources during the meeting on April 10, 2024. The Committee further expanded on the topic of new water sources to augment the City's water resources portfolio, focusing on identifying alternative supplies to the Colorado River in the instance of permanent shortages. The Committee was tasked with ranking possible projects based on a timeline (short-term and long-term) and level of sustainability. Ideas will be further expanded upon in the next meeting, focusing on new water sources, infrastructure and enhanced efficiency.
