CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was to order at 5:05pm by Chairman Greg Brown.

This is the time for citizens who would like to address the Board on any non-agenda item within the jurisdiction of the Board. The Board will listen to comments, and may take any one of the following:
  • Respond to criticism.
  • Request that staff investigate and report on the matter.
  • Request that the matter be scheduled on a future agenda.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approve the draft minutes of the Citizens Water Advisory Committee Meeting on September 11, 2024

DISCUSSION ON WATER CONSERVATION PROGRAMS IN CITY WATER SERVICE AREA
  • Overview of the City's Water Conservation Programs
  • Discussion on goals to enhance and improve the City's current programs
Andrew Pirrone, Water Conservation Coordinator, provided a summary of the City's existing water conservation programs as presented in the previous meeting on September 11, 2024. The Committee further expanded on the topic by discussing strategies to increase program outreach. The Committee was tasked with individual brainstorm sessions and will be further expanded upon in the next meeting. No action needed.

OTHER BUSINESS
  • Discuss and vote on the City's Water Services Department collaboration with Liberty Utilities on items that would provide mutual benefit to both utilities
The Committee discussed the possible collaboration of the City's Water Services Department with Liberty Utilities, approving collaboration on projects that would provide a mutual benefit to both utilities to ensure fairness to Goodyear Water Services ratepayers.

The next meeting of the Citizens Water Advisory Committee is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Goodyear Public Works located at 4980 S 157th Ave. Goodyear, AZ 85338.
 
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, Chairman Brown adjourned the meeting at 7:02p.m.
