Coordinator Ruiz will prepare a presentation for the committee to review and make a decision at the next meeting. Committee members are asked to bring their top three artist selections for discussion.
- Robert Panzer – Traffic Cabinet Art Wrap located at Camelback & 146th Ave.The committee praised Robert for his excellent depiction of Goodyear's past, present, and future, noting how well the artwork told the City's story.
- Adrian Ramirez – Traffic Cabinet Art Wrap located at W Wigwam Blvd & Indian School Rd. Adrian will be completing a wrap design. The committee discussed that Coordinator Ruiz would work with Adrian to incorporate a design from the piece onto the top of the cabinet.
- Ashley Macias – Traffic Cabinet Art Wrap located at McDowell Rd & Palm Valley Cornerstone. The committee was impressed with this piece.
- Ize (Cesar Alatorre-Mena) – A couple of suggestions from the committee: remove the Goodyear logo, and his signature should be placed on the back of the box. The design will need to be reviewed by the baseball teams before final approval.
- Cynthia Bluford Mejia – Traffic Cabinet Art Wrap located at S Cotton Ln & W Commerce Dr. The committee suggested removing the Goodyear logo from the blimp, changing the date to 1946, and depicting the pages blowing in the wind to symbolize the City's continued growth.
- Egypt Hagan – Traffic Cabinet Art Wrap located at N. Estrella Pkwy & Centerra Dr. Egypt will be completing a wrap design. The committee recommended extending the feathers higher on the box and hand-painting the top of the box. Commissioner Ruiz will connect Egypt with Eli Crane to confirm the design accurately represents the concept.
- Jessi Kerr – Traffic Cabinet Art Wrap located at McDowell Rd & Country Club Dr. The committee felt this piece was beautifully presented and well executed.
- Jerome Fleming – Traffic Cabinet Art Wrap located at W Goodyear Blvd & Sherman St. The committee suggested increasing the number of butterflies in the design, noting the vibrant colors used.
- Kelsey Phillips – Traffic Cabinet Art Wrap located at Estrella and Wolfpack Way. The committee was highly impressed with this design, highlighting the amazing attention to detail.
- Rebekah Unsworth – Traffic Cabinet Art Wrap located at Sarival and Harrison. The committee recommended continuing the wrap onto the top of the box and incorporating additional elements beyond just the flower.
