CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chair Mathias called the Police Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board meeting to order at 8:04 a.m.

Board Attorney Sorensen participated remotely via Teams videoconference.
 

MOTION BY Boardmember Jason Bayer, SECONDED BY Boardmember Teresa Kuleff to EXCUSE Chair Kaino. The motion carried as follows:

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approve the draft minutes of the July 17, 2025 Police Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board meeting.

MOTION BY Boardmember Jason Costello, SECONDED BY Boardmember Teresa Kuleff to APPROVE the draft minutes of the July 17, 2025 Police Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board Meeting. The motion carried as follows:

Review, discussion and possible action on the applications and medical records for entry into the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System.

The Board moved into Executive Session for Item 2 at 8:06 a.m.

The Board reconvened the Police Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board meeting at 8:10 a.m.
 

MOTION BY Boardmember Jason Bayer, SECONDED BY Boardmember Jason Costello to ACCEPT the application for Juan Ruiz with no pre-existing conditions and the applications for Christopher Colgan, Jason Howard, Sean Mendoza, Eric Tomperi and Heather Wilkinson with pre-existing conditions for entry into the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System. The motion carried as follows:

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Per ARS §38-431.03, upon a public majority vote of the members constituting a quorum, the Goodyear Police Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board may hold an executive session for any item on the agenda.

Vice Chair Mathias called for the Board to enter into Executive Session for Item 2. There was no objection.
