DISCUSS JUDICIAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE EVALUATION PROCESS AND TIMELINE
Mr. Locket, reviewed the anticipated evaluation timeline and presented the templates of surveys used in the prior evaluation process. The Committee found the sample surveys acceptable with no revisions recommended and agreed to request survey participation from individuals involved in cases heard between January 1, 2025, and September 24, 2025. Court Administrator Crystal Whelan indicated she will provide audio recordings of court proceedings. Chairman Sheri Lauritano requested that the pretrial docket be included to help the Committee identify the applicable portions of the recordings and bypass inactive segments. Mr. Locket informed the Committee that the Q12 Employee Engagement Survey results, along with feedback received within the City’s performance management system, will also be considered in the evaluation process. Ms. Whelan further noted that presentations delivered by the judge to the City Council during Fiscal Year 2025 are available for review.
