CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pizzillo called the Special Meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

A VOTE MAY BE HELD TO CALL AN EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(1): Discussion with the Presiding Judge regarding his performance evaluation.
Council heard from Sheri Lauritano and Ginny Boyle, representing the Judicial Advisory Committee (JAC). Ms. Lauritano presented information on the committee's recommendation to reappoint Judge Delgado. Council expressed support for the committee's evaluation and expressed appreciation to the Judge for his work.
MOTION BY Vice Mayor Wally Campbell, SECONDED BY Councilmember Brannon Hampton to CONVENE an Executive Session. The motion carried as follows:

Mayor Pizzillo reconvened the Special Meeting at 4:36 p.m.
CONTINUATION OF BUSINESS

Council may consider for possible action renewal of the Presiding Judge’s employment contract.
MOTION BY Vice Mayor Wally Campbell, SECONDED BY Councilmember Trey Terry to RENEW the Presiding Judge Manual Delgaldo's employment agreement to include a 5.0% salary increase; 10% deferred compensation contribution; $400 a month car allowance; and remove the cap on sick leave payout upon retirement. The motion carried as follows:
