PUBLIC COMMENTS ON PROPOSED UTILITY RATES
While no members of the public were present to provide comments on the proposed utility rates, the Committee discussed their recommendation to Council on the adoption of the proposed utility rates. The Committee discussed the importance of the proposed rate structure for the long-term financial sustainability of essential utility services.

REVIEW WATER CONSERVATION PLAN
The Committee continued discussions on the draft water conservation plan that is focused on addressing water conservation needs for the near future.

PRESENTATION BY STAFF ON SOIL AQUIFER TREATMENT FACILITY (SAT SITE)
Ray Diaz, Water Resources Manager, presented on the City's underground water storage facility, known as the SAT Site. Mr. Diaz explained the significance of the site to the City's water portfolio, and discussed future proposed improvement plans maximize its water resources benefits while making it a community amenity.
