REVIEW WATER CONSERVATION PLAN
The Committee discussed the draft water conservation plan and worked with staff on the recommendation to be delivered to City Council.

PRESENTATION BY STAFF ON COLORADO RIVER
Silvana Burgos, Water Resources Planning Advisor, provided an update on the Colorado River, noting that hydrologic conditions remain poor. She shared that the seven-basin states remain at odds and have yet to reach an agreement on the Post-2026 Operating Guidelines. Ms. Burgos further discussed the impact of post-2026 reductions to Arizona’s Colorado River supplies and highlighted impacts to the City of Goodyear. Ms. Burgos emphasized that long-term water security will require continued planning, infrastructure investment, and development of new water supplies.

DISCUSS CUSTOMER-FACING WATER USE PORTAL (AQUATRAX)
Staff reported that the City will launch a new customer-facing portal for accessing water usage data. The portal is expected to be introduced in Spring 2026.
