2025 ACTUARIAL REPORTS FOR GOODYEAR POLICE AND FIRE
Lesli Sorensen, Board Attorney, reviewed the Police and Fire actuarial reports and discussed the changes in the reports compared to the prior year. Ms. Sorensen spoke about the funded status and contribution rates.
The Board reviewed the reports and no action was taken.

CITY OF GOODYEAR POLICE AND FIRE PUBLIC SAFETY PERSONNEL RETIREMENT BOARDS RULES OF LOCAL BOARD PROCEDURE
Lesli Sorensen, Board Attorney, reviewed the Goodyear Police and Fire Public Safety Personnel Retirement Boards Rules Of Local Board Procedure and discussed the proposed changes. She explained that the Arizona Legislature modified retiree return-to-work provisions and that the Board is required by statute to determine whether a retiree is eligible to return to work and whether the Alternate Contribution Rate applies. She added that the proposed revisions align the Board’s procedures with current Arizona law.
MOTION BY Vice Chair Jay Mathias, SECONDED BY Boardmember Teresa Kuluff to ADOPT the revisions to the City of Goodyear Police and Fire Public Safety Personnel Retirement Boards Rules of Local Board Procedure Adopted Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-847(F). The motion carried as follows:
