That the City Council deny the claim of Interns Exchange of the Automobile Club (AAA) in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.

On February 3, 2022, Interns Exchange of the Automobile Club (AAA) filed a property damage claim on behalf of their insured, Mr. George Tanaka, a City of Torrance resident, in the amount of $3,259.34 for the reimbursement of repairs made to Mr. Tanaka’s vehicle. The claim alleges that on December 16, 2021, Mr. Tanaka was traveling southbound on Beach Boulevard approaching La Habra Boulevard when a City vehicle struck his vehicle.  It was determined that the vehicle that struck Mr. Tanaka is not owned or operated by the City of La Habra.
