The La Habra 300 Bowl is located on the southwest corner of Whittier Boulevard and Cypress Street, at 370 East Whittier Boulevard. The property is designated by the General Plan for Corridor Mixed-Use 1 land use and is located within the C-2 (Commercial) Zone, which implements the Corridor Mixed-Use 1 General Plan land use designation.
On December 15, 2014, the City Council approved a Live Entertainment Permit for a one-year period, which allowed live band performances and karaoke. Accordingly, on May 18, 2015, the City Council reviewed and modified the Live Entertainment Permit for La Habra 300 Bowl, adding conditions including requiring increased onsite security and removal of the approval that allowed live performances.
