SUBJECT:	APPROVE DENIAL OF LIABILITY CLAIM OF MS. HYUN KYUNG CHUNG

RECOMMENDATION:

That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Hyun Kyung Chung in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.

DISCUSSION:

Ms. Hyun Kyung Chung, a City of La Habra resident, filed a property damage claim on April 26, 2023 in the amount of $930 for reimbursement to repair one tire and a damaged rim. Ms. Chung alleges that on March 26, 2023, while making a left turn from Imperial Highway on to La Habra Hills Drive, she drove over a pothole causing damage to her tire and rim.

None.
