RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Lucrecia De La Rosa in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Ms. Lucrecia De La Rosa, a City of La Mirada resident, filed a property damage claim on May 11, 2023, in the amount of $817.82 for reimbursement to repair one tire. Ms. De La Rosa alleges that on March 4, 2023, she was traveling eastbound on Imperial Highway at the intersection of Market Place, when she drove over a pothole, causing damage to a tire on her vehicle.
