SUBJECT:	APPROVE DENIAL OF LIABILITY CLAIM OF LINK LOGISTICS

RECOMMENDATION:

That the City Council deny the claim of Link Logistics in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.

DISCUSSION:

On June 29, 2022, Mr. Bud Pharris filed a property damage claim on behalf of Link Logistics in the amount of $1,100.00 to repair their fence. The claim alleges that on May 16, 2023, the Los Angeles County Fire Department cut a hole in a chain link fence owned by Link Logistics in order to gain access to a fire that was adjacent to their property. This claim will be tendered to Los Angeles County Fire Department for processing.
