SUBJECT:	APPROVE DENIAL OF LIABILITY CLAIM OF MR. VICENTE VENTURA ESTRADA

RECOMMENDATION:

That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Vicente Ventura Estrada in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.

DISCUSSION:

Mr. Vicente Ventura Estrada, a City of La Habra resident, filed a property damage claim on May 15, 2023 in the amount of $190 for reimbursement to repair a rear tire. Mr. Ventura Estrada claims that on May 15, 2023, he exited his driveway to park along South Monte Vista Street and his tire was punctured by a screw due to construction that was occurring on the street. This claim will be tendered to the contractor that was performing the work at that location.
