RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Miguel A. Razo Ramirez in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
On September 13, 2023, an attorney representing Mr. Miguel A. Razo Ramirez, a La Habra resident, filed a bodily injury claim for an unspecified amount. The claim alleges that on March 18, 2023, Mr. Ramirez was walking his dog at or near North Dexter Street when several dogs charged out of a home and attacked the claimant, causing bodily injuries. In addition, the claim alleges a dangerous condition.
Staff recommends that the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Miguel A. Razo Ramirez in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
