APPROVE DENIAL OF LIABILITY CLAIM OF MR. RIGOBERTO ARAGON AND MS. LORAINE ARAGON

RECOMMENDATION:


That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Rigoberto Aragon and Ms. Loraine Aragon in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.

DISCUSSION:

Mr. Rigoberto Aragon and Ms. Loraine Aragon, City of Brea residents, filed a property damage claim on February 26, 2024 in the amount of $1,725.76 for reimbursement to repair a rim, suspension, and an alignment on their vehicle. The claim alleges that on February 6, 2024, Mr. Aragon and Ms. Aragon were traveling on Lambert Road, at the intersection of Cypress Street, when they drove over a pothole causing damage to the rim and suspension of their vehicle.

None.
