RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Anthony Pantoja in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Anthony Pantoja, a La Habra resident, filed a property damage claim on September 4, 2024, in the amount of $650.00 for damage to his vehicle. The claim alleges that on April 2, 2024, Mr. Pantoja’s vehicle was parked at 739 5th Avenue, when a limb from a City-owned tree fell on his vehicle, causing damage to the back windshield of his vehicle.
