RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Stuart McFeely in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Stuart McFeely, a City of Brea resident, retained an attorney who filed a bodily injury claim against the City on July 18, 2024, for unspecified damages. The claim alleges that on February 9, 2024, the claimant was involved in a traffic collision with a City employee.
