RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Richard Akles in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Richard Akles, a City of La Habra resident, retained an attorney who filed a claim against the City on January 14, 2025, for unspecified damages. The claim alleges that on July 31, 2024, the claimant was injured by La Habra Police Officers.
