RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Agustin Garcia in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Agustin Garcia, a City of La Habra resident, filed a claim against the City on April 29, 2025, for damages greater than $35,000. The claim alleges that Mr. Garcia was struck and injured by a school bus.
