RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Victoria Kolakowski in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
An attorney from Shah Law Group, P.C., filed a claim against the City on August 19, 2025, on behalf of their client, Victoria Kolakowski, a City of La Habra resident, for damages in the amount of $1,250,000. The claim alleges that Ms. Kolakowski has suffered from harassment under her employer, the La Habra City School District.
