RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Jose Ancheta in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Jose Ancheta, a City of La Habra resident, filed a property damage claim against the City on July 8, 2025, for $5,125.89. The claim alleges that on June 2, 2025, a City-owned tree fell on the claimant’s vehicle, causing damage to the top of the vehicle.
